Treffpunkt Science City is ETH Zurich’s public science programme for all ages (in German). In lectures, experiments, lab tours, and panel discussions, the public can discover how new knowledge emerges and how it influences the world we live in. Held in spring and autumn for about five weeks, each programme of Treffpunk Science City tackles a different topic. Every year, it attracts over 23,000 visitors, including 5,000 children and teenagers.

The latest edition of ETH Zurich's Treffpunkt Science City in November 2023 focused on artificial intelligence. As a specialist for intellectual property law, Prof. Stefan Bechtold from ETH Zurich's Center for Law & Econonics (CLE) was invited to talk about the legal implications of ChatGPT, such as potential breaches of copyright protection, and whether Swiss laws are prepared for such an international technology.
