Congratulations to Dr. Jens Frankenreiter

It is with great pleasure to announce that Jens Frankenreiter, who completed his PhD at our Center in 2016, has been awarded the external page Annual Award of the Swiss Institute of International Studies for an outstanding PhD thesis at the University Zurich or ETH Zurich. external page Jens Frankenreiter is now a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods and currently spends a semester as a Visiting Associate Professor of Law at the University of Virginia School of Law. His thesis on "Judges, Politics, and the Law: Empirical Studies on Judge Behavior, with a Focus on the European Court of Justice", which had also received an ETH Medal, has been partly published in the external page Journal of Empirical Legal Studies, the external page Review of Law & Economics and the external page Southern California Law Review (forthcoming).
