Monash-Paris-Warwick-Zurich-CEPR Text-as-Data Workshop
September 15–16, 2025
Organized by Monash University, the Paris School of Economics, the University of Warwick, CEPR, and ETH Zurich's Center for Law & Economics, the Monash-Paris-Warwick-Zurich-CEPR Text-As-Data Workshop takes places about twice a year, via Zoom.
The program for the 10th Monash-Paris-Warwick-Zurich-CEPR Text-As-Data Workshop on September 15 & 16, 2025, has been published.
You'll find the full program external page here.
This anniversary edition promises to be a special occasion. Alongside the research presentations, the following events will be featured:
- Panel discussion on AI in Economics Reviewing and Publishing with Sascha Becker, Joshua Gans, Karen Macours & Imran Rasul (Mon, Sep 15). This panel will cover various aspects of how AI is or should (not) be used in the peer-review process (e.g., AI-generated reviews). We believe that this topic resonates with many authors, reviewers, and editors at present.
- Keynote: Tarek Hassan - New Technologies and Inequality (Tue, Sept 16)
- Keynote: Anton Korinek - AI in Research (Tue, Sept 16)
As always, active participation in the chat is encouraged. When connecting to Zoom, please use your full name. For those who have followed past editions, this year the workshop will experiment with flash talks instead of having sessions run in parallel. The orgaziners are excited to see how our community receives this new format.
If you have any questions, please contact the organizers.
